
Patterson Williams, LCSW, is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Appalachian State University. She is passionate about supporting individuals through trauma recovery and specializes in trauma-focused therapy, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Additionally, she has advanced training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Problematic Sexual Behavior-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT with PSB-CBT), a specialized intervention through the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN).
While trauma remains her primary focus, Mrs. Williams has extensive experience working with both children and adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and sexually reactive behaviors. She believes in an individualized, evidence-based approach, tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each client. Her work is grounded in compassion, trust, and collaboration, ensuring that individuals feel supported as they navigate their healing journey.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Mrs. Williams is deeply committed to ongoing professional development and staying informed about best practices in trauma therapy. She strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can process their experiences, develop resilience, and build a foundation for long-term emotional well-being.
